Six generations after the first mentioned Gimm in Schleswig Holstein entered the stage of life, the danish family line starts with Christian Rudolf Gimm (born 1851). He had 7 children. Two sons of him, August Christian (born 1886) and Gustav (born 1890) later went to Denmark and lived there.

The son August Christian married later Christine Abkjer. Together they had 3 children: Christian Rudolf, Hans and Ernst August.

August Christians brother Gustav married Thora Abkjer. Think she must be a sister of Christine Abkjer( wife of August Christian).

Gustav had 4 children: Hans Christian (born 1919), August Christian (born 1920), Carl Gustav (born 1924) and Christine (born 1931).
